A couple more Maritime shorts

Not much to say about these shorts, other than they meet a gap in my wardrobe, are fairly quick to make once you’ve gotten the hang of the zipper fly, and they’ve been lengthened 3″ so that they’re a length I’m comfortable with!

 Edit

This was made with just a metre of a grey stretch drill I got from Chinatown. Pocket linings were cut from scraps left over from other projects. And the waistband facings are finished with bias tape.

Because of the stretch in the fabric, I found this pair a little too loose. It felt better after I put them through a round in the dryer.

Third pair in a light blue denim.
