Girl Friday meets Parenthetical

As I mentioned previously, my second pair of culottes was cut out and ready to go almost immediately after I finished my first pair in white linen.

I cut into this precious length of Anna Maria Horner linen! And I could only do it because of how in love I was with the Girl Friday culottes pattern!

It’s quite a bit louder than my first pair, isn’t it?

Like my first pair, these culottes were also shortened by about 10″. I was wondering if the length was ok, so I asked for some input on Instagram. Sewing friends said to leave it so I did! Thank you, friends!

I wore it on Sunday with my slub chambray Belcarra blouse. But I keep wondering if a crop blouse would work with the culottes. I’ll have to try that idea out, with a crop that isn’t too short!

I really love how these look on you and you’re style of garments. I was looking on the web for images of this pattern and found yours! I am going to give it a try. Thanks 🙂
