A floral Laurel

This is my second Laurel blouse, made with some precious fabric I bought from Kyoto a year and a half ago. I’d actually thought I’d make something for one of my girls with this fabric; but they have a pesky habit of outgrowing their clothes!

I made up my first Laurel blouse late last year, and it has been in regular rotation in my wardrobe. This floral version has slightly better sleeves. I took the time to hem the neckline and sleeves by hand so that there wouldn’t be a visible seam line.

(I look somewhat rumpled as this was taken at the end of a long day!) I’m wearing them with my herringbone tweed Portfolio pants that have never been blogged.
