Rainbow dotty Geranium tunic

Dear Geranium, I love you because

1. You are fast to sew.
2. You make up a very cute dress.
3. I love your pleated skirt so much I’ve never made anything else.
4. Those cap sleeves!

So this is the 7th iteration of this pattern and I have two more dress-length versions cut out and ready to be made up. It crossed my mind to insert some flat piping at the bodice but then the need for speed won out. I’ll save it for the next two dresses.

Pattern: Made by Rae’s Geranium pattern, 4T, tunic length
Fabric: rainbow dots poplin from Spotlight, bought on sale for less than $7 a metre.

I was browsing the KCW projects page looking for some inspiration (it’s been a tough few days in this household!) and found your cute Geraniums. I was undecided about whether to buy the pattern, but I think your lovely dresses are the inspiration I needed. They’re gorgeous!
