Lemon blueberry ricotta cake

The name of this cake sounds like such a mouthful already.

This is the last of the ricotta that was hanging out in the fridge so I think we won’t be having any more ricotta cakes in a while.

The recipe was simple enough. I managed to make this post-dinner, with a little help from my littlest. She was most anxious to have a taste of the cake since she’d helped me with it. The cutest part was when she ran to me in alarm to say, “Mama! The cake broken!” because the top of the cakes had cracked.

PS. While there has been plenty of sewing going on, getting photos of sewn items has been more complicated. Must remedy soon.
